“The way Jesus shows you is not easy. Rather, it is like a path winding up a mountain. Do not lose heart! The steeper the road, the faster it rises toward ever wider horizons!”
Pope St. John Paul II
OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process through which adults explore the Catholic faith and prepare to enter the Church. Whether you're unbaptized, baptized in another tradition, or simply seeking, you're welcome here.
-

Inquiry
Inquiry is the first step of the OCIA journey.
It’s a time to ask questions, explore the Catholic faith, and discover what God might be calling you to. There’s no pressure or commitment—just an open door and a welcoming space to learn and grow. -

Catechumenate
The Catechumenate is a time of deepening faith and commitment.
During this phase of OCIA, participants grow in their understanding of Catholic teaching, develop a stronger prayer life, and become more involved in the community as they prepare for the sacraments of initiation. It's a time of formation, guidance, and spiritual growth. -

Mystagogy
Mystagogy is the final stage of the OCIA journey.
After receiving the sacraments, this period helps new members reflect on and live out the mystery of Christ in their daily lives. It’s a time to deepen faith, grow in community, and fully embrace life as a Catholic.
